Winter 2009

While I was in Noatak, Eric took a trip to Denver and Arkansas to visit family and friends. Here he is with his brother Rex and mom Jackie.

Jade had a great time coloring eggs this year.

Eric got her a new type of coloring kit - she had to drop the coloring into a basket and shake the egg around - she did really well, we only had a few seriously cracked eggs.

Kenny loves the electric 4-wheeler. He loves pushing buttons of any kind - so he picked up very quickly on how to make the 4-wheeler run

Kenny has 5 teeth now, he likes to brush his teeth all by himself. He gets mad at us if we try to brush for him

We were able to get out and about in the snow a few times this winter. The kids enjoyed being pulled on the sled

Noatak 2009

Me and the kids went to Noatak in March for the Friends Church Conference and NANA meeting. I was also excited because I was also able to meet my biological grandfather for the first time in my life. I had met my grandmother around the time I moved to Anchorage, but had not met my grandfather. We got to visit with them almost every day while we were there. We enjoyed Alaska Native food, got lots of rest, and lots of visiting and meeting new people. Jade loved the snow-go rides on the sled and the 4-wheeler rides.

Happy Birthday Kenny!

We had a party for Kenny on his 1st birthday-January 18. It was great to have everyone over to visit and celebrate. Kenny is scooting around now adays and is trying to stand up more and more. He has 4 teeth and is doing more and more each day to express his wants.

Here is Kenny with his own cake - he licked the frosting a bit and ate a small piece of cake but was done soon after that.
